Robert C. Luskin is Associate Professor of Government at the University of Texas at Austin, Research Advisor at the Center for Deliberative Democracy at Stanford University. He has long been interested in political information’s effects on the texture and outcomes of representative democracy. Among other current projects, he has been using Deliberative Polling data in the U.S. and abroad to examine the empirical dimensions of deliberative democracy and has examining the measurement and consequences of political knowledge in France. His work has appeared in the American Political Science Review, the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, the British Journal of Political Science, and Political Analysis, among other scholarly journals.
